Have you ever noticed how easy it is to convince yourself that things have changed, or how quickly you can discover that they haven't? I'm rolling along, slowly starting to like my job and think that maybe this isn't so bad after all, slowly starting to think that I'm moving on and not jealous and not looking the wrong way and all of a sudden, WHAM! - one piece of news, one realization and I'm sitting at home depressed, thinking about how I can get out of here quickly and happily and move all airstrips to the other side of the world.
